302 Carbed Distributor Choice
I have a 92 FI Roller Block Motor, that I have carbed and plan to install in a 73 F100. What distributor do I need to match up with the roller cam that will give good performance. I read somewhere there was a difference in the gear between the tfi distributors and the older distributors, is that correct? Thanks!

You will need a distributor with a steel gear. A TFI distributor won't work. It sends a signal to the computer that you won't have to advance the timing. I have a mallroy 1 wire distributor tht work well. PM me if you want the part number.

Need help on distributor swap
I have a 302 out of a '68 mustang. Currently using a single point ignition and stock coil. I want to change over to a capacitive discharge iginition. Any suggestions? The engine is in a 52 panel truck used as a daily driver, primarily street use around town. Engine currently runs out of revs at 5200.
