Front End Clanking

I have a 2001 F150 Super Cab with 48,000 miles, and for the past year i have had a clanking coming from the passenger side front wheel area. I have read many forums on this and have so far replaced inner and outer tie rods, sway bar bushings, sway bar links, torsion bar, repacked capiper pins, and tightened the lower shock bolt. The ball joints were checked and i'm told they are ok. When i hit a man hole or a section of road that was just patched it is most noticable. It sounds like a metal on metal noise. Anyone have any ideas, it's driving me nuts.

Check the ball joints again. My 2001 has 46k and I am on my second set of lower ball joints and first set of upper arm/joint assemblies. To check them is easy just jack up one side at a time by placing the jack under the lower control arm. Jack it up so the tire just leaves the ground(able to spin it)grab a long/large prybar or screwdriver and stick it under the bottom of the tire and pull up on the tool. If you feel a looseness or a clunk the ball joint is going.
2nd thought...look at the top and bottom of the sway bar links. See if the rubber "*****" are still there.

i have recently put in new sway bar links, and when i checked the ball joint i used a 2x4 under the tire and there was no movement. Is there alot of pressure needed to pull up on the tire to see movement or if it is bad you will notice it. I had alot of pressure on that 2x4 up and down.
