does anyone have an answer 4 me
I am trying took install electrical fuel tank switch.I have (2) I got from pick n pull.They were on late 70's p/u,one is a 5 wire switch,and the other is 6 wires.
What color wire goes where?

You'll find this is a great resource, but you'll also find that we can be much more helpful if you describe the particulars of your problem and your vehicle.
For starters, what truck are you talking about? You're talking about the dash switch that controls which fuel tank the truck uses, right?
A Haynes or Chiltons manual will definitely have wiring diagrams that answer your question for you. In most cases, they are free to look at in your local library. There are also diagrams online, but I can't find of them right now for some reason.
This will be moved to the appropriate forum shortly, as well.
