a little help here

I've got an 86,F-150, 302 with duel fuel tanks. My truck just suddenly crapped out, after towing it back to my place I did a little trouble shooting. I finally noticed the booster pump wasn't coming on. I checked the voltage to the relay, and to to the pump. I got 12 VDC to the relay, but nothing at the pump. I also checked both sides of the wires at the inertia switch. Both my books don't have the schematic of how power runs from ignition to booster pump. I took out my tfi and had it checked (of course it was at advanced, so what ever that is worth) and they said it was good. ( I don't know if that has anything to do with my problem anyhow) I replaced the relay, I wondering what else could be the problem. my books says nothing about a computer, and I've looked around for one. any help in this would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

enda

In reference to what Fordborn posted, I believe they prefer that titles of threads reference the problem--like "bad booster pump" or something--as it helps when looking through threads or doing searches. Hopefully someone will jump in to help with your problem...........................

Mainly a standard welcome for new members, but yes, it helps when the title has the related problem in it. This helps the search engine for future references. Nothing at all wrong with the post, just a welcome.

I'm not a wildcat fan either, the sig is for other reasons. LOL
