How long does the 4.6 live?

My 2009 4.6L has 267,000 and runs like a top. I don’t know it’s history other than that it was a fleet truck. I got it last month and it passed inspection no problem. Zero frame/undercarriage rot which is unheard of here in the northeast. So far I love this truck and I intend to use it sparingly; just to bring my smallish boat back and forth to the ramp. I also got a deal on it: traded for a 1930s radio believe it or not (it was a nice radio).

I've got a 2010 E250 with a 4.6 that I bought about five years ago with 181,000 on the clock, so your post is very encouraging. Same thing, fleet truck and the underneath is clean except the rear spring shackles have some heavy rust, but that's typical. The van runs and drives like new. I got a good deal on it because of the miles.
