Again thankyou.I had read about this repair but no one said exactly what they had used.Next time I have trouble or better yet next time I am in the garage I'll pull it off and get it done.

There is only the 4 bolts holding the motor & 2 bolts holding the wiring harness, then the 3 screws holding the backplate and then it will come out. Be careful when you take it out to make sure you notice which way the triangular female part of the gear is pointing when you take it out, otherwise you'll have to take it apart again to get it in the right spot.

Yes I am aware of all those things.The one time it quite was when we were out on a lake.So I have even done this out in a snow bank.That's why I think I'll try and do the repair while still in the garage.Ahh the good times.
