Before Jesse, from "Extreme 4X4", got on the show she was on an episode of "Overhaulin" with Foose. Ian the guy on the show was on "Monster Garage". I know. I watch a lot of car building shows. Gets me motivated to work on my project.
Keith, Trucks is filmed in nashville TN. Stacey lives somewhere close to there as well. Most of the powerblock shows are filmed down there.
Yup. Near my old stompin' grounds. (Well . . sorta - kinda.) I'm from Newport, then Greeneville then, on to Kingsport! (Still have some relatives down there.)
Trucks! still is a great show. I don't mind that it's commercialized. It's about trucks!
I went to Stacey's website a while back and asked about the vehicles. According to the 'responder' (I think it's Stacey's wife) Stacey owns the majority of the vehicles that are built. I know that the Crazy Horse Bronco and the Copperhead truck are his.
If I remember correctly, the town of Franklin, TN is the 'home' of the PowerBlock.
Even though it's a (Shhhhhhhhhhhh. . . . .) Mopar, I wanna see what Sgt. Rock turns out like.

car craft magazine needs to have a half hour show. those guys r about the only magazine people who go to junkyards to get engines and stuff. then they print the cost sheet at the end of the build, down to the hose clamp.and every once in a while they blow upa motor. cool. alsoa lot of cutting edge tech articles. cool gearhead stuff. and danica is hott!!
I got my satellite system mainly for 4x4 specific shows like xtreme4x4, but I have found that I prefer to watch TRUCKS because of the wide variety of projects that Stacey does. So far, Xtreme4x4 has leaned heavily into jeeps and buggies with Chevy powerplants- if I wanted to see that, all I have to do is open any of the 4x4 mags I get- same old-same old
xtreme 4x4 has done some others with gail banks helping out in doing the up grade in person, but yes i agree they are very light on ford and more pro dcx and chevy,
ya car craft still in publication, just like 12$ a year! its an awesome mag.i dont c how they can keep going that cheap. they lay down cool articles about real peoples problems and real world build ups.theyre LA rednecks, if such a thing is possible lol.
