Blue Oval, what a trip! Wait till you have Grand daughters, and see how that comes back to bite you!
You obviousle made a good choice when you stole that guy's most precious....? You still have her.
I'll bet it took a lifetime to be comfortable around her dad. With that Shotgun right over there in the closet....
yea me and "dad" aren't always on the best of terms, lol! yep got grand daughters, still young ones, but we've been thru some adventures w/ our daughters. boys suck, that's all i can say, lol!
Yes, bringing up Girls does fit in the description of the term "Adventure", but what always puzzled me was the choices the girls made???
I know I wasn't that bad of an example that she'd pick a (*) like she did. Where'd that come from? And worse yet, why do I still care?
How come I cant get that monkey off my back? (see me edging toward the closet where the Shotgun sit's)
Boy oh boy, aint all that a load of topics for a bunch of threads?

Crawling out of the tent to go pee at 5am while solo backpacking in the Wind River Range in Wyoming......and finding MISTER BEAR munching your Snickers that you forgot was in your tackle bag 10 feet away. Having the outfitter tell you (after 8 hours on some VERY dangerous trails) after he drops you off that your horse is blind in one eye..... Getting caught in a rain-hail-sleet-whiteout storm in June. All this on the same trip. That's why I love backpacking-adventure!

that's probably just a tad more adventure than I'd want on one trip.
(Adventure)What does that word mean to you personally?
Pushing your boundaries - no matter what aspect of life it may be.
- and are you adventuring in your daily life or not?
At the moment probably no. I do try to do something different, try a new challenge, but lately I have been kind of absorbed in college.
When I finish, and have a bit of paper and some finances behind me, then the REAL challenge will begin.
I look on each day as a adventure. I enjoy my job. I see any day I do learn something new or completing a furnature repair thats hard to do a adventure. I work with customers everyday & getting along with them can be a adventure in its self. I had a tough time on one call recently. The good looking homeowner was dressed in only a tshirt which made her job was a real adventure for the eyes. I had her show me all the damage on the lower parts of her cabinets several times. The other subs on the job almost died watching her.Yep I'm a dirty old man LOL
I would say that an adventure is something you do that is story worthy later on... It may not be death defying... But there is some risk... Just something that others are entertained in the telling of it later... a few of mine.. Getting locked in a Kmart that was closing as a little boy... living over seas... Serving my country.... I have countless stories... Most recent being a trip to the junkyard that ended up in pandimonium becase a rat jumped out and scared us all.
I don't think it has to be big.. just worth retelling later.
