Hey Vamp-
I'm not sure about the Aerostar seats, never thought about it.
As far as the split seats go, I'm not sure about the ones from '97 an up, because the body style changed so much and the cab dimensions are a little different. I know they started making a really nice 40/20/40 split bench in either '92 or '93 and it changed slightly up to '96. These are really nice seats, very comfortable, and have the center console that flips up like you are talking about. This is an easy swap, just re-read the post above from Fordmando.
