Help! '98 Explorer XLT Headlight Problems

Help! '98 Explorer XLT Headlight Problems
The low beams on my '98 Explorer are not working. The parking lights stay on, and the brights work only in the pull to pass position, but not for extended use. Looking around it seems like this is a fairly common problem on anything from '94 all the way through 2000 models. I don't have the center navigation console, so it can't be the infamous Lamp Out Module, as I don't have one (I've looked). Other people seem to have some problems simlar to this with the multiswitch. Unfortunately, I have no choice but to drive about 160 miles in the dark tonight, so I at least need to figure out a temporary fix for this. Can anyone tell me where to find/how to access the multiswitch, and how I might jumper this thing so the headlights will at least come on? I appreciate any help you can give me!
