I have a 92 fullsize Bronco, the spare tire is on the inside. I would like to put a external tire rack. If I can find a factory one on a wrecked Bronc would it be fairly simple to install or are there some tricks. If anyone has done this I would really appreciate the help. I would like the extra storage.
Welcome to FTE and the Big Bronco Forum. Check the Red Link in my signature. The short answer is... not an OEM rack. The gusseting is not present in the rear quarter. Some aftermarket or bumper mounted racks would work.

not just that but also it probably wouldnt hold anything larger then a 31" tire.
your gonna need something custom made. what part of the country do you live because i know a few guys that can make ya a really sweet rear bumper for a great price and it will hold a 38 if you needed it to.
I am in North Alabama, I have a stock 92 Bronco and run 31x1050 on it and I hate hving the tire inside. Takes up to much room, so I would be interested in any good ideas.
Thanks for the help
and bolt it to the fiberglass top. probably not the best solution. there are some other bronco forums around the web were guys build what your after. talken maybe 450 max
there is a thread in this forum titled finally finished bumper/spare carrier! written by oregonian, Im sure it may give you an idea or two as to what you would like to have.
