swap?
this might be a silly question but here goes. can i ask for a trade for my 400 engine to a 351m or even a in-line 6 300 without being laughed at? also, i know a 351m would fit on my c6 tranny, but would a i-6? i don't need a lot of power or torque, just want to drive without stopping at a gas station every 2 hours!

i have a 351m and can't give it a glowing review for gas mileage. i'm not sure going from the 400 to the 351m is any improvement. what i'm about to say will sound really strange, but here goes. the guys around here claim that the 460 will actually get better gas mileage than either the 351m or 400. the 460 will fit and will bolt up to the existing trans. good luck
