a buddy of mine has a nitrous kit that he doesnt use anymore. i was wondering how much spray could i put to a 4.2L and still be safe and reliable. i only have 23,000 miles on the truck, i have an intake and exhaust, and im looking for a programmer. im not gonna spray everyday just maybe once a weekend or so.
thanks for the help.
Wish I could help, but I have no idea. A year or so back there was a group of regulars here that spent some time and money messing around with stuff like that. I think they had decent luck and I don't recall any tales of catastrophy.
You might want to look back in time through this forum, or do a search and see what comes up.
I'm sure there's some stuff somewhere, you just might have to dig for it.
hey man, i just wanna say that i have a nitrous kit too. i run a 100 shot and all i did was swap the plugs and fuel pump. ive gone through 3 bottles and havent had a problem yet. this is my truck so its my risk but you can easily run a 75 shot and be ok with it. good luck, and ask anything, and ill do my best to help.
well, i picked up my fuel pump from ebay. its a walbro 255plh and i paid $100 including shipping. real good price. as for plugs, i was told to use copper. ill look up which ones will work if you need more details. as for a chip, you can look through the vendors here on this website. they can help you choose whats best for your application. if you neeed anything else, just ask. good luck!
