ore ther a few people that were happy to see use hovering overhead.My wife said she saw us on fox news channel when we were removing people from interstate 10.after the extraction process was complet the mission turned to releaf aid and supplies. no matter what some of the news outlets say we were ready and waiting,all we needed was the order to go.

I used to be attached to VA-122 (det Fallon) back a long time ago when we flew the great A-7 Corsair II. No slack in Light Attack!!

welcome back and god bless you!! my granfather was in the navy durring WWII on LST 534. it was hit by a jap kamakaze (i think that is how it is spelt) but was in shallow water so it didn't sink. i love the storys he tells to me so i am sure you will have lots of storys to tell your gran children. thanks and welcomeback
A big thank you to everone helping and giving. I know it is hard on more than just those that actually volunteer to help, it affects familys. My son-in-law is still down there working temperarily with FEMA and finishing up one month with them and next week will stay and work with the Army Corps of Engineers for another month.
Whether it's the Gulf of Mexico, Persian Gulf, Indian Ocean, or the mountains of Pakistan, You and your comrades in arms make us all proud to be Americans. Stand tall!
