I have a serious love bug problem and tried washing w/ soap and then went to advanced auto and purchased a small can of love bug remover, but neither worked very well.
has anyone discovered a product that is safe for the finish yet effective at cleaning dried bugs?
AVON has a product called Skin tastic works good on bugs and decal glue.
On my camper I have used PAM cooking spray on the front so that the bugs don't stick.
Man, I read the title and thought this was a different topic. Oh well.
Is this on your vehicle? There is a bug and tar remover at autozone or any automotive store. No clue how well it works. Usually takes a little soaking and elbow grease to get em off. A good waxing will help with the next episode of bug juice on the front. If your vehicle wasn't so sexy this wouldn't be a problem. I couldn't resist.
Well im waiting on the patent for this idea, But I will go ahead and tell ya anyway.
Take a bath towel and soak it in hot water at night, then lay the towel over the sex bugs till the am and wipe off.
Will work unless the sex crazed bugs orgasm's have eat'n through the paint. Keep this secret or I will send bubba after ya!!
LOL
Well first you at least buy em a drink..then you can slide your hand down ......... Oh oops...Sorry saw the title and got all excited. Thought the forum was going in another direction!
Sorry...couldn't resist.
LIke mentioned above with the camper, (I do the same), except for on the truck, I make sure it has a good layer of fresh wax on the front end then I hit it with a layer of PAM. Then usually it only takes a wash to clean the little sex mongers off. Then I can get them off the truck. (sorry, lost it again).
