fred_79f250 "That's great. Young kids are stressful enough without adding opposing ideas on their upbringing into the equation. Too often parents wait until they are faced with an issue to deal with it, and then find out that they had really different assumptions about what would be done, which oftren leads to tensions. Firm or laissez-faire? Three-R's or free-form learning? Old-time respectful, or new-age familiar? Etc."

True- but I remember humorously keeping a list on the fridge of all the things I swore I'd never do as a parent, just so I could cross them off one at a time. I think I zapped 'em all by the time our oldest hit his 1st birthday.

The idea, and the list, came from my mother-in-law, who had 5 of her own. Everytime she'd hear us say "and we'll never..." she'd just say "Fine, I want that in writing, just so I can remind you of it later on."

Congrats! I had the same thing done for my daughter now 5, they made a video and printed pics. Very cool, she looked exactly the same when she was born. Better buy yourself a new truck so he can have your old one!

Thanks for all the congratulations and advice, I really do appreciate it. Yeah, I might have to get me a new truck, I sold my F150 a little over a year ago, and have been driving another brand since then, nice truck, but still not a Ford. If they ever change the design of the SuperDuty, then I'll think about it *Still a Ford man at heart!!*

As far as his birthday....the consensus seems to be March 14th.

[QUOTE=bigdaddyII]Congrats!!!!!! Looks like the both of us will have something to look forward to in March. We are expecting our first towards the end of March (25th, my wifes birthday). Last ultrasound told us that its going to be a girl. I scanned both frames into one, but my favorite is the bottom one.

So last Friday we went and got the good news, it's a boy! Exactly what we were hoping for. Anyhow ,I just love this one picture that they took so I thought I would share it with you guys. I hope this works! Ultrasound Picture
