AIH delete plug**dodge drain plug**

Anyone know what year to use the oil pan drain plug off a dodge cummings to replace my AIH? I searched this forum and found a post that gave this number (704-1378) for NAPA, but their website does not list that plug and we dont have a NAPA store here.

Do you remember the date of the thread? I could go back and check receipts.

I found the reciept. That is the right #. I think it's for a 99. Have them look it up and cross the number.

Drain Plug

It is a 22MM x 1.5mm although I cut a little off the length so it stick into the manifold to far.

I cut it down then drilled and taped the center to use for the boost line.

yeah why couldnt you just use the plug from black cloud? or cut the heater coil off the element? i used the BCD plug, it was $10, right length, and it included a gasket/seal.

I already had my boost gauge in, so I just took the IAH out, chopped off the heating element that sticks into the intake - and stuck it back in!! CHEAP and easy!! O yea - on a side note - I don't know WHAT the heck that heating element is made out of - but plan on using a cut off wheel, or a grinder too cut that element off - I TOASTED a sawzall blade on it without even making a dent!!
