Clicking in dash

When I put a Kwik filter on I thought I would remove the battery to give me more room to work. When I disconnected it I heard a ticking noise from behind the guages in the dash. It stopped when I reconnected the cables. (I found removing the battery was unnecessary.) Everything still works fine, I was just wondering what it was. I don't like any sounds in the truck that I don't know what they are. Any thoughts? .......Thanks..

Hmmm...maybe a grounding problem with the other battery? Just guessing, no idea really.
