snow chains for traction
how many have used those strap on "chains" in the snow and howd they work out? not talkin about the full size tire chains but the single strap on cable ones , i think they say to use 2 on each wheel. i need something to help my 83 f100 in the snow. my 31 10.50 mud kings r wearing down! i get around ok with just a few hundred pounds in the bed (sand tubes) usually, but my mudders r losing their grip and r about shot. would like full chains/cables on all wheels, but dont have the $$.

You should realize you do not need chains. A 2wd will go fine, even in New York deep snows with no problem.
