Annoying thud while excelerating
Can anyone please tell me what might cause an intermitting thud under my 98 expo E.B. It happens while excelerating between 10 and 30 mph then stops. I feel the effect in the entire vehicle. Someone suggested it might be a drive train problem but I would like some insight before the mechanics start digging in my pockets.

Could be the transfer case/transmission needs a fluid drain and replacement. Whens the last time it was done? I did mine on my 00 expy and the thud went away, turns out the transfer case fluid was shot..
