1972 LTD parts source
My brother and I are working on his LTD. It is a convertable with the 429. Are there any catalogs, internet sources for parts or message boards for info? I have been trying to find some with no luck. Thanks in advance.

What type of parts are you looking for? For the 429, parts are available at your local auto part store. For body parts, try Dennis Carpenter, Classic auto parts (they're in oklahoma city), for some parts if you know the part number try Green Sales. For more help visit http://www.world-of-fords.org/page1.html and join in the forum page. I do believe there are several members there that have a '72 LTD's.

Guys thanks for your help. Any info is welcome. We will be looking for engine parts, door panels, dash, as well as some body parts. Trying to find some headers for the 429 as well. Can't find any for that year in the catalogs.

Look at the Fairlane sites.
They are the same car.
headers are an aftermarket product and can be bought at speed shops or Muffler/exhaust specialty shops.
You don't need an online LTD supplier for this part.
385 engine series parts are available at any uto parts shop or speed shop.

there are lots of stores out there where to find parts.. my friend bought ford parts that he needs at carpartsmax.com, they offer a pocket friendly price..
