2002 ABS controller (module) where is it?

i have the truspeed calibrator but i dont know where the abs controller is. the instructions say that it is either under the battery box or on the drivers side fender well.

i see all the plugs on the fender well but i dont know which one is the abs controller.

anyone got a pic of what it looks like? or describe it?

thanks.

Do the instructions identify the wire color you are looking for? The ABS controller is under the battery box, and is a PITA to reach.

If you know the wire color needed you might be able to find it inside the cab.

Cool. The gry/blk wire also runs to the instrument cluster....so it is in the cab too if you needed it.

Awesome. How hard is it to dial in the truspeed to get the accurate measurement?

talk about bringing one up from the dead.

i didnt see that last post.

i have a gps reciever and used that to get it spot on. the method that they tell you gets you close. (they have you calc a % difference and then adjust the calibrator according to that).

w/ a gps it took me about 3 different adjustments and it was perfect.
