Now what is wrong???

I went to start my 1995 f-350 cc dually 2wd drive this morning. It was about 40 degrees F out. I was going to let the glow plugs cycle until the WTS light went out, but it never came on. Anyway I waited about 30 seconds and rolled her over and she came to life. However, the voltmeter is still pegged all the way to the left and the tach does not register. What the heck could be the problem. A blowed fuse?? (I haven't looked)
Everybody says that when the cam sensor goes bad the tach doesn't move but the truck still runs. ( I am pretty sure this cannot be the problem)
What else could be wrong with the truck. I do not have a clue other than to check the fuses out. Thanks Jake
