Dash Gauges Don't Work
I have 97 F150 4x2 with 4.6. Has 190K and runs perfect. I got into it this moring to go to work and noticed the none of my gauges are working. Speed, tach, oil, fuel, temp, and battery. Even the odemeter and trip stopped working. Also no door ajar light or check engine light come on. I checked all the fuse's ( under the dash and hood) and every thing came up ok. I though these trucks still had a gear driven speed and odometer. So i am completly confused. I've been driving around with a 5 gallon gas can and guessing my speed. So if any one has had this problem or know what might be wrong. Any help would be greatly appricated.

Could be the GEM, or bad ground. Has your windsheild ever leaked? Water can leak onto the GEM located on the drivers side above the fuse box. Also, check the small ground wire off the negative side of the battery terminal. Had a similar problem on mine and the small ground wire from the battery terminal was corroded inside the insulation for the first few inches.
