In my opinion the beat all kill all paddle tire. They are basicly a slick with kevlar scoops adheared to them. Except the scoops don't run all the way across the tire. The are staggered. Do a search on the web. But if you can't get traction with those in the mud you might as well pick a different hobby. Anyway, just a sick *** paddle tire.
damn straight rubber , wish i had the power to turn a set of them tires (i watched a rail with 2500hp run a set of those front and back, i think he touched the mud 3 times then launched about 25ft out the other end of the pit).
Hey rob were do get a cutter like that, wouldnt a regular sawzall work just as well?

not sure what you mean, I have a regular sawzall. I just modify the blades for cutting if you mean a regular blade no if you leave the teeth on the blade it would be faster to naw the lugs off with your teeth.
And if your talking about the tire groover I used for shaping, and finishing work then fishy gave a good link there, you can also find them on evilbay, or anyplace that sells to the stockcar or sprint car guys a lot.
Oh yea, sorry bout misunderstanding, the tire groover is what I was refering to.
I thought it was just a nicer griped sawzall.
question anwered anyway rob, thanks, and thanks for the link fishy.
Well I got the tires done as much as I am gonna this year. Got the new gears in, and put the tires on tonight, even after I chopped a full coil out of my rear springs this sucker still sits high in the rear kinda wondering if I shouldn't jake it back up, and take another coil out but I don't want to drop it so far I run out of shock travel under compression, and don't hve time to rebuild the shock mounts even if I was so inclined since those shocks are going away over the winter. So guess I will just leave it there, and see how level it sits when I drop the air preasure down at the track.

just a dumb 9" question for you (since I think you run a rear 9 ), do you preload the bearings by measuring the bearing cap stretch, or by torquing the adjusters with a torque wrench?
Well getting ready to load this thing up this morning heading for the track but figured I would take a pic with the new tires on it while it was still clean so for your viewing pleasure here ya go.
