New Job
Well, since my present job sucks, I have been looking for a new one. It came my way today. It is not completely official until I get the offer letter in the mail, which should be here tuesday or wednesday, but the company made the offer verbally today. Starting on September 24th, I will be the General Manager of the Oak Tree Inn in Wellington, KS. It's not a huge property, it has 89 rooms, but it will be a great place to start as a GM. I will be flying to Livonia, LA., for 3 weeks for the first part of my training, then coming home for the weekend, and the flying out again to Winslow AZ., for another 2 weeks. Right now the hardest part is going to be surviving the next two weeks with Alco. I plan on giving a weeks notice next monday, but I imagine that the store manager will just fire me, she's getting tired of people quitting, and the will be a week and a half before the grand opening.

Congrats on the new job. Sounds like you'll be back working in a field that you like. Probably a lot more laid back than the Holigrome. Looks like I'll have to find another place to get my "Hardlines"
