fuel filter change

the manuals i have read seem to have a long time recommended between fuel filter changes. what do you all use for a guide for this?

i go about 3 oil changes or 12-15000 miles of daily driving less if towing.

i do every other oil change, or 6k miles. ( 3k mile oil change)
