302 alittle hot
i have a 78 302 in my mustang and i recently swapped to the E7 heads and a bigger cam. at first i ran a performer intake then swapped to a port o sonic. i didnt like the port o sonic due to lack of mid range so i swapped back to the performer. the car ran 190 degrees all the time until i went back to the performer the 2nd time, now it runs 205-210 degrees only when driving at high way speeds. i used the same t stat then switched that, no change. the timing is the same and everything else is also the same.....i hope its not a head gasket, also which head gaskets due you use with the E7 heads? new style or old style? or does it matter? any suggestions would be great...........
