Hi everyone. I bought an '83 F-150 with 128,000 miles on it recently for $150. It has the stock 351W coupled to a C6 tranny. Runs great on the highway or just around town. My only problem is at stop signs. Whenever the truck is in gear and stopped, the engine lopes and dies. I've idled up the carb slightly, but this hasn't helped much. All of my vacuum lines seem to be in place. Wires, plugs, rotor and cap are all good. It always fires back up on the first turn of the key. Any ideas? I'd appreciate any help I can get!
