Just purchased a leveling kit for my '97 f250HD 4xcrew. I ventured into new territory and bought it off the JCWhitney web site, a little nervous about that, but product came quickly and was relatively easy to install. The description said it would raise the front end 1.5" -2". Can you believe this----it actually did exactly that! what a great experience. I can't believe i waited this long.
I got the truck back last night from getting a the front end realigned. it sure is fun to drive again (except for the gas bill)
Stock tires for now, I have scheduled a gear change for it next. I use the truck for towing and plowing, so i want to get a little more power down to the pavement.
The lift is just enough to make it sit level and give it some attitude, but not make it look like it has a lift kit.
