I've got the old single master and would like to switch to a dual one but keep my drum brakes. Anybody know what I should be looking for, and also prop. valve if applicable.
I'll save you the time to keep manual drum brakes on all four corners use a 69 bronco master. Bolts up not changes. Broncos use the same bore on the wheel cyl so there no change in pedal effort.
Nope Broncos had just a spool valve in them for Brake warning light not real a prop valve.
You will have to re plumb the truck for twin lines but you know that. 66 uses a pressure switch on the line so you'll need to junk yard hunt for a switch to go of the pedal.

I conerted to a twin master from a 70 Ford truck with the spool valve got all of the lines and spool from the junkyard new master but had to shorten the pushrod. other than that it all bolted right in. The factory lines look great even has a bracet that holds lines to steering box.
But for what it is worth I would start gathering parts for the disc upgrade. I completely rebuilt my drum brakes including master cylinder and when it was all done I probably could have gotten the disc brake conversion completed.
What ever you do have fun with it, it is all just a learning curve and some of us need to learn the hard way.
