This is wierd?

?? this has happened a few times in the two weeks I have the truck 2000 f350 7.3 auto trans. I would start the truck and go on my way, The speedo stays on zero and the overdrive indicator blinks?? I have gone over 10mi easy without the speedo moveing or registering any mialage? Wierd ha?

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) needs to be replaced. It is located on the rear end. Unplug, remove, replace, plug in - good to go.

Try just wiping it off too. It is actually magnetic and some of the filings may be stuck to it causing it to malfunction. If it solves the problem them kepp the money, if not then you can still replace it and you are no worse off.
