So I have a victor that the machine shop talked me out of installing and talked me into a Performer RPM. I suppose they're right while I'm still running a carb. But when it's time to go TBI or MPFI, should to switch to the Victor?

Definately switch to the Victor at that time. It's a single plane, and that will allow you to run injectors in it. Basically, the injectors need to be in a line, and thus so do the ports. Kind of hard to do on a dual plane! Plus, the additional airflow provided by the victor will be very noticable on the high end. The fuel injection will help with low end fuel distribution which is where the Victor would be lacking with a carburetor.

IMO the Victor would be a waste with TBI. Run MPFI if you're going to the Victor.

Thanks for the info on the Victor, that makes sense to me. Have you got a crank sensor on your setup? If so what kind?
