More 250 ?'s

I just bought a '78 F250 4x4 to replace my '78 F150 4x4 becuase I am tired of breaking stuff. I am sorry to hear that the 44 in the 250 is basically the same as the 150. Soooo... I'm planing on swaping the rear ends into the 150 because she's already lifted to the hilt and has the monster 429CJ in her. All I want to know is what do I need to swap from the front end. Do I need to change the knuckles or just the spindles out? I know the rear 60 will change out no problem. I really don't wan't to spend a lot of time or effort on the front because I know I'll be fabbing a 60 into the front soon. I want to keep my coils in the front because of great articulation. Thanks.

Leave the 44 in there alone. You will have to do the same work to make the 44 fit that you would to make the 60 fit. I dont see any stregnt advantage between the two 44's so why waste your time??

Tony

'77 F250, 4X4 460 transplantee, "Flamer"
'74 F250. 460, "beater" now "1 dead ford"
'73 F250, "midnight auto" now a trailer for the flamer
