Original Door Speakers

Hey just a quick question...

Does anybody know what the original 89 f250 speaker size is? (in the doors) is it 4" or 4.5" etc? Also if possible how deep are they?

Just wondering if anybody has seen the size and knows what it is! Thanks!

In the doors they are 6.5".

gezz 6.5 i didn't know they were so big. how hard is it to replace the speakers?

They should be held in with 3 or 4 screws. They are incredibly easy to replace as well. Remove the door panel, and then unscrew. The hard part is knowing what color wire is the + and which is the -. The way I always did it was to hook it up one way and see which way the cone travels. It should move forward, not backward.
