my 429 help

I have a 1972 429 ok here is the thing i redone it still had the 8:5:1 cr,but i took off the d2ve heads and put on fresh d3ve heads same cc ,and i eliminated the a/c ,smog, egr, cam is stock, so is the intake but im running a holley 3310-750cfm carb, 160 thermostat, and dual 2.5 exhaust how much power should i be making and also where is the best place to sit the timing like 10,12,14 degress

problably 12 degrees and maybe 250 hp and 350 ftlbs........you need an intake, cam and good headers. also a 180 t stat. then you might be around 350hp and 450 ftlbs.

curious

Thanks, out of curiosity what is the max lift and duration you can use on stock pistons without any p/v issues and how much can the stock springs handle? Im asking cause of my 72 429, but my uncle has a 1969 429 he is hopping up, he already has a offy intake, and a holley 750cfm carb, headers for his.
