95' ford explorer front end
i need to replace my fords front end the ball joints and tie rod ends are shot .... i was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of price tag is on a job like that !!

I had all four ball joints replaced on our 96 Explorer(4wd) about a year ago. I bought the parts(Moog brand) at our local Car Quest because Ford replacement parts don't have any provision for greasing. Don't remember exact figures but parts were approx. 250.00and Ford stealership labor was around 400.00 to install. Hope this helps. Robert

I agree with the price tag for the parts..........bought lifetime @ Advance the first time and these were free (got my money back when returned)
179,000 total miles, the parts are TRW and started to make popping noises @ about 90,000
as for install cost, 3 hours, but that is with a lift and air tools and ball joint press and I had done it before
