Without a doubt the best tool box that I have owned is a Weatherguard! I have had some other brands (Delta and DeeZee) but they are not the quality that my current box is. The locks are better, it opens/closes better, and seals much tighter than any non-Weatherguard boxes that I have seen and used. You can check my gallery for some pics.

Look at UWS. A little more money than the Autozone/Home Depot boxes but you get what you pay for. A lot of members here have them.

I'm happy with the Kobalt box I bought at Lowes.

just got my weatherguard box the other day, its awesome, i had a husky before that and that was rather flimsey and seeemed weak, this weatherguard looks sharp, is very sturdy, and it even opens itself with a touch of a button. i bought mine at a local ladder and scaffold shop, for 600. More then my Husky was at 300 but this one will has much much better quality.

Not online! the shipping costs would scare me.Then the Weatherguard is the best box i have seen used commercially.I was in a sweat when I bought my Weatherguard/$$$$$/ but after three years it just is like new/ and its used every day with a full load . not cheap...but now that its paid off, I feel like a rich man with the quality of the product[ extra deep, extra wide, fits ten five gallon buckets of tools with the tray]

Is it still shiny. I see other brands that get dull.

Bluescab....my weatherguard has been in every industrial site here in northern ohio. for years. including the salt mine which is a monster des****** of hand tools, electric tools, galvanize is not allowed as its not tought enough...and my weatherguard is still shiny under the paint spray that drifted on it. its a clear powder coat, and they have a cleaner/procedure for it...I had other brands that will not match it for wear...and I would not even consider the regular steel powdercoat....Three years plus, and the locks and push buttons are still like new....yeah I like it

Go to www.highwayproducts.com and check their products out. They're a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I pull a 16K fifth wheel so installed the front and rear boxes to accommodate that. Excellent product, extremely well built.
