I am looking for some info on 16” wheels. I need 8 lug stock type wheels that will fit a 72 Dana 44 front end with drum breaks. The set I have will fit the Dana 60 rear end but will not go on the front end, they will not seat against the brake drum. Did Ford make a 16” wheel to fit this application? Any help would be appreciated.
Looks like the wheels I have are some kind of Chevy wheel. I think Ford welded their wheels together where-as Chevy riveted there’s. The ones I have are riveted together. I thought that the center hole was smaller on Chevy wheels, but not on these, Doe’s any one know of a chart that shows info on what fits what regarding Ford 8 lug steel wheels.
