i need help as soon as possible
i gots a 77 f250 supercab w/ dual piston calipers and i was changing the brake pads & i got the rotors turned and it was going so smoothly then i go to drive and it jerks hard forward then hard backward and i got no idea what it was i think my father might have collapsed a piston on the passenger side i dunno but i took it for a spin and i was like hmm somethings not right what should i look for or what should i do

It sounds like the piston is stuck. Pull the caliper off and see if the piston moves freely. Most lilely you'll need to buy new calipers. Another FTE'r replaced the pads on his D60 axle a short while back and had the same problem. It turned out dirt and junk had caused problems with the piston because when the pad is worn so much of the piston was exposed. He replaced the calipers with a set from AutoZone and was good to go. I think it cost him about $80.

well thanx ivan but it wasn't that so i looked over everything again but it turns out since i didn't feel like ooking at the rear brakes cause the whole axle thing pisses me off but it turns out a seal busted and the while drum was saturated with oil
