I am looking for some info on 16” wheels. I need 8 lug stock type wheels that will fit a 72 Dana 44 front end with drum breaks. The set I have will fit the Dana 60 rear end but will not go on the front end, they will not seat against the brake drum. Did Ford make a 16” wheel to fit this application? Any help would be appreciated.
Welcome to the forum, you will get more responses if you scroll down the left column to the brakes, wheels, suspension, ect. section, maybe more help.

Looks like the wheels I have are some kind of Chevy wheel. I think Ford welded their wheels together where-as Chevy riveted there’s. The ones I have are riveted together. I thought that the center hole was smaller on Chevy wheels, but not on these. Doe’s any one know of a chart that shows info on what fits what regarding Ford 8 lug steel wheels. Will latemodel disk brake wheels work with the early drum brake set up? 16x7 8 lug is what I need.
