A/C Leaking R134A

My 1998 F150 with 154,000 miles has been using one can of refrigerant every six months for years. This time it went low in two months and it took two cans to fill it. The leak has obviosly gotten worse. Are there any common leak areas to the system? I understand air conditioning and can deal with it but a little help before I dig in would be appreciated.

add some dye to it. that will let you know where the leak is. I would check the shrader (spelling?) valves on the high and low side. I see those leaking alot. GL

Common areas are at the O ring seals and the compressor shaft, sometimes oil stains will give you a clue to where the leak is, but texans is correct with the best method is the dye
