I have a 99 B3000 flex fuel and plan on changing the spark plugs soon. Have heard some good things about NGK plugs, but was wondering what seems to work the best.
the stock motorcraft plugs or the autolite regulars. don't use the multi electrode or the platinum plugs both big wastes of money and no performance gain.
Thanks for the replies. From what I have read it seems with this ignition system the double plats are generally better in the long run. Never have used Motorcraft or for that matter platinum plugs, but I guess it is worth a try this time since it has been nice to me so far.
You may not be able to find the Motorcraft DP's anymore, they are being superceded by the newer fine-wire "FM series" plugs as the recommended OEM replacements in Fords with DIS/EDIS ignitions.
