I want to put power steering into my '75 F-250. How hard would this conversion be? I'm hoping to find somebody who has done it before and has a list of exactly what parts I need from the junkyard and exactly how I install them and where I bolt them. Diagrams or pics would be great but any info would be appreciated. Thanks

This is a much discussed subject---you will need the power steering parts from either a 78 or 79 f250 , 4x4 , ---your draglink connecting the front wheels will work(I think)---then you will need the ps pump--yours will work , (3) a ps box & pitman arm (78-79) ,(4) a short draglink connecting pitman arm with the arm on the left wheel(78-79) , (5)the 2 hoses connecting pump with the ps box----------All of these parts are available from LMC in kansas(800-222-5664)----If you use old parts then at some point they will have to be rebuilt----so you might want to consider buying rebuilt parts from whomever------Also , most of these parts are also available from major parts chains!!!!---You will need to disassemble the front clip and remove the radiator----see the pic's that js workman took of his conversion in the picture gallery under powersteering swap-he did a very good job , fd :-X11
