Do anyone know where I can get a program that will allow me to design a paint scheme before I decide to have my 55 painted. I was thinking of a two tone like the Harley F-150s
I've seen some really good photo customization using Adobe PhotoShop. I have PhotoShop but have not had enough time to sit and play with it. I think House of Kolor sells a program also but I think its really pricey.
I bought the House of Kolor program. For a single vechicle it is $49.95 (yes, pricey). I haven't spent alot of time with it but so far I'm disapointed in what I have been able to do. Maybe it will be better when I have more time to work with it. Someone on here has a program that the end results look good but I can't remember who it is or what the program is called.
I use Corel Draw and Photopaint depending on what effect I'm looking for. Photopaint is a bitmap editor as powerful as photoshop but I find it a lot easier to use, and Draw is a quick and easy but powerful vector drawing program good for lettering, hard edge graphics. They come bundled with several other illustration programs, or as stand alone programs. You can often find the previous to the latest version discounted heavily online or at stores like CompUSA. There is a simplified version refered to as "classic" that is good for basic work.
Photoshop is the best software made, but it is like buying a Kenworth to drive back and forth to work.
1) It will do about 500 times more than most people do.
2) It requires special training to really use.
I am married to a Graphic Designer. She uses it for real. I dabble. If you can afford it, it will do the job with just dabbling skills. I recommend the book Classroom in a book by Adobe.
I find all of this very interesting as I waffle around on colors and schemes. I really like red/purple/black but GOMD wants ''something different'' this time

2.) exactly why I prefer Corel photopaint, I also have Photoshop, but unless you use it all the time it's a pain, so when I want to do something quickly I'll just jump into Photopaint instead. It is far more intuitive and straight forward.
