HI ALL--JUST JOINED AND AM HAVING A PROBLEM--HAVE 93 F150 5.0 167,000 MILES. HAD MISS SO DECIDED TO CHANGE FUEL INJECTORS--THIS DONE, NOW WON'T RUN VERY LONG -RUNNING SUPER RICH AND SHUTS DOWN--ANY IDEAS WHAT I DID WRONG--WAS FINE BEFORE EXCEPT FOR SLIGHT MISS AND HIGH FUEL CUNSUMPTION--WENT FROM 19MPG TO 12 MPG OVER LAST YEAR.
ALSO, IF I REMOVE THE VACUUM LINE TO BRAKE BOOSTER THE TRUCK WILL KEEP RUNNING UNTIL I HOOK THE VAC. LINE BACK UP-- THANKS FOR ANY HELP GORDYM

I have the same truck and I'm lucky if I get 12mpg!!!

What type of fuel injectors did you use. A stock rig probably should use 19lbs injectors.

Only 19# injectors should of been put back, check to make sure you've got the right ones.

Do a computer diagnostic test by checking the computer codes to see what the computer has to say for itself. You can use the search function under "computer codes" to pull up previous topics here that will explain how to do so.

Find out if your computer has any trouble codes that indicate a potential problem area to start looking at.

 

I Bought 19# Bosch Injectors--i Am Going To Pull The Wires From Each One To See If One Or More May Be Stuck Open.
