Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted here. I need to know the over all length of 1 axle shaft (from the end of the splines to the end of the hub flange) for my '79 F-150 2wd. If someone knows what it is, or has one lying around that they could measure for me, I'd greatly appreciate it.

BTW: '93 Jeep Grand Cherokee was rearended and totaled last Wed night, and I'm driving my F-150 everyday now. I learned that if I can keep a light foot on the gas, the mileage isn't too bad, but not as good as my Jeep was.


'79 F-150 Ranger, 2wd, LB, police 302, stock headers, 3 speed manual on the floor, Hurst shifter, fully tinted, and flamed out.
'93 ZJ, Laredo, NP249, 5.2L, black, 31" Pro Comp Muds, Eagle Alloy 589 rims, Anthony's 2"BB, OME SD40, K&N, relocated IAT, Accel coil, etc..etc.. Totaled on 6-26-02

If you're not in a hurry, I can measure for you Saturday. I have a pair of 31 spline axles in the garage.
