Special Project Truck
I've started working on my son's old truck which will end up being my daily driver. It has the 360 and granny low four speed at this time. Someone has donate another pick-up to the cause and it has a C-6 in it which I am thinking of using. I wish to turn the 360 into a 410 which means locating either a 410 crank or a 428 crank. I haven't had much luck other than locating a new crank. Anyone know much abut the Scat cranks? My goal was to have the truck running to drive down and get Joey's tool chest on the 18th of Oct. Will be cutting it close. Any help will be appreciated.

I have no idea of this will be of any help with what you are seeking, but when I needed a rebuildable 3.8l (which is a lot more common I imagine then what you are seeking) crank after my bearing spun in my bonneville and not having any luck at local yards, these guys sold me one at a pretty good price, even shipped cod. It only needed grinding .010. Worth a try. kbcores.com

Give these guys a call, They are in CA but very reputable when it comes to scat cranks and what fits. I've used them several times and they are one of the best. Good luck.
