Speedometer Gear
Does anyone know where to get speedometer gears for the original three speed manual transmission? I changed my rear end and now I need a 15 or 16 tooth gear, but the smallest I have been able to find is 19.

The smallest gear listed for your 3 speed is a 18 tooth gear. It's 01T 17271-A. In the same chart they list the gears for the 4 speeds. They should work. I found a 15 and a 16 tooth listed.

Do you have a local speedometer shop? They usually stock a wide range of gear ratios and even external ratio changers. The one here puts the vehicle on a roller and can give you an accurate reading speedometer.
