Wow! Thanks CD....it's getting better by the day. I believe that I could bolt the '77 back on the '66 frame also and unleash it on someone wanting a work truck also. I'll let you know how the progress goes.

Headed to Talledega this weekend so I guess Monday will be the magic start day.

BTW - I bought this truck from a retired gentleman that has had it since 1975. It is straight as an arrow (except some rusted problems at the front of the bed where the water likes to camp out) and solid as a rock. I saw him at a gas station about a week ago pumping gas and turned around to talk to him. Asked him if he wanted to sell it and he said not really but that he would. The next day I gave him $1,500 and drove it home.

He has put a C-4 behind the 240 I6 and used one of the 3 speed shifter rods to hook up the linkage. Kinda hokey but it works. He even gave me the 3 speed tranny and all of the linkage too. Man....oh happy day!
